Sagamore Spirits - The Brand

Sagamore Spirits is an American Rye Whiskey brand from Baltimore, Maryland. The brand hopes to rebuild the legacy of Maryland Rye Whiskey, which used to produce one-third of the Rye Whiskey in the United States before Prohibition. The brand also runs Sagamore Farms, founded in 2018, which has over 180 acres of grain. The farm also has its own grain cleaner, mill, and silo to ensure control and quality. They have even become a license grain dealer in Maryland to be able to provide the state local rye to other distillers. The non-GMO corn crop at Sagamore Farm will supply 10 % of the distillery's corn in 2022 and beyond.

Sagamore Rye Whiskey - Signature

This expression is a blend of two straight rye mash bills. The first is a high-rye mash bill of just rye and malted barley, and the second mash bill is a low-rye with rye, corn, and malted barley. Each distillate is aged separately for 4 to 6 years in high-char American oak barrels, blended together, and reduced to 83 proof (41.5 % ABV) with spring-fed water from Sagamore Farm.

Sagamore Rye Whiskey - Double Oak

This expression is a blend of straight high-rye and low-rye mash bills aged 4 to 5 years in high-char new American Oak barrels. After the first maturation, the whiskey is transferred into a low-char, medium-plus-toast wave cut stave barrel for an additional 18 months. The final product is cut with limestone-filtered water from the Sagamore Farm springhouse and bottled 96.6 proof (48.3 % ABV).

Sagamore Rye Whiskey - Cask Strength

This expression is a blend of straight high-rye and low-rye mash bills aged for 4 to 7 years, just like the Signature expression, except that the final product is bottled at 112.2 proof (56.1 % ABV).

Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur

Created by Hendrick’s Master Distiller Lesley Gracie, Solerno is a premium Blood Orange Liqueur made from Sicilian Sanguinello blood oranges harvested from Mt. Etna at the height of their season and the peak of ripeness. The blood oranges are infused, also called macerated, in an aromatic lemon distillate and then distilled in small batches in copper Alembic pot stills. The famous Venetian Murano glass-making style inspires the bottle.

Slane Irish Whiskey

Slane is an Irish Whiskey from Brown-Forman, the parent company for Jack Daniel's & Woodford Reserve, produced at the historic Slane Castle in County Meath, north of Dublin. This brand uses a signature triple-cask aging process to give this product complexity. The first is a virgin barrel, with a heavy toast and medium char, sourced from the Brown-Forman Cooperage in Kentucky. The second barrel is an ex-Tennessee or ex-Bourbon barrel that previously held Jack Daniel's, Old Forester, or Woodford Reserve. The third barrel is an ex-Oloroso Sherry cask from Spain. The contents of all three barrels are carefully blended and bottled at 80 proof (40 % ABV).

Spiritless - The Brand

Spiritless is a portfolio of distilled non-alcoholic spirits designed for craft mocktails and low-proof or reduced ABV (alcohol by volume) cocktails that the brand calls HALFSIES™ (1:1 ratio). The brand is women-owned, and three founders were already working in the beverage, food, and event planning industry when they realized the demand and opportunity for elevated non-alcoholic drinks. The trio wanted to begin with a product designed for Bourbon cocktails because 'Brown Spirits' had the largest market share, and it was an enormous opportunity if done right. In October 2019, they used a homemade still in the founder's basement and continued to tinker and sample until they had something that would work. The group has come a long way since those basement trials and has a patent pending process to produce non-alcoholic spirits through reserve distillation. All Spiritless products have a shelf life of 12 months after opening and do not require refrigeration.

Spiritless Kentucky 74

This expression is a distilled non-alcoholic spirit for bourbon cocktails and delivers building-block bourbon flavors like caramel, vanilla, and oak. In addition, a little pepper adds a bit of heat to mimic the bourbon hug we all know and love. The reverse distillation process separates ethanol from our Kentucky 74 distillate. The ethanol is removed and repurposed for the next batch; we call this our “regenerative ingredient.” The distillate that remains in the still is non-alcoholic. Finally, a 2 oz (60 ml) serving is only 15 calories.

Spiritless Jalisco 55

Jalisco 55 is a non-alcoholic spirit for tequila cocktails made using our proprietary reverse distillation process. This expression replicates the reposado tequila experience with familiar flavors of sweet agave, zesty citrus, fresh sweet mint, and a touch of cinnamon.

Spot Whiskeys - The Brand

The Mitchell family created the Spot Whiskey brand as a bonder whiskey brand in 1887. Mitchell & Sons was originally a wine merchant and importer in Dublin. They began filling their empty wine and fortified wine barrels with sourced whiskey from the local Jameson Distillery before returning these barrels to age in their cellar warehouse. The Spot name originated from the Mitchell family’s practice of marking casks with a daub of colored paint to indicate their age potential. There was a ‘Green Spot,’ ‘Yellow Spot,’ ‘Blue Spot,’ and ‘Red Spot.’

Green Spot, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Green Spot is the first expression in the Spot Whiskey range. This expression is a non-age statement Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey aged between seven and ten years in a combination of ex-American Whiskey and ex-Sherry casks. This product is non-chill filtered and bottled at 80 proof (40 % ABV).

Yellow Spot, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

The Yellow Spot expression is aged for twelve years in three separate and very different oak casks: ex-American Whiskey, ex-Sherry butts, and ex-Spanish Malaga casks. Malaga is a sweet fortified wine from the city of Málaga on the south coast of Spain. The influence of the Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey, making it a truly delightful taste experience. Unlike a traditional cask finish, aging the entire period in each separate cask allows the Master Blender to perfectly mingle the three together to achieve his desired flavor profile. This product is non-chill filtered and bottled at 92 proof (46 % ABV).

Red Spot, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

The Red Spot expression is aged over fifteen years in a combination of ex-American Whiskey barrels, ex-Sherry butts, and ex-Sicilian Marsala wine casks. This product is non-chill filtered and bottled at 92 proof (46 % ABV).

Blue Spot, Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

The Blue Spot expression is aged from a minimum of seven years but includes some much older whiskey, in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels, ex-Sherry butts, and ex-Portuguese Madeira casks. This product is non-chill filtered and bottled at cask strength.

Torres Brandy – The Brand

The Torres family has been making wine in Catalonia since 1870 and distilling brandy since 1928. The brand makes Brandys from the Catalan grapes of Xarel-lo, Macabeu, and Parellada grown in the Penedès DOP (Denominación de Origen Protegida). These three grape varieties are also found in Cava, a traditional method of Spanish sparkling wine. The distillery uses both a continuous column still and a traditional pot still, depending on the desired final flavor profile of the brand.

Torres 10 Reserva Imperial

Torres 10 is made from a blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeu, and Parellada grapes, distilled in a single copper column still, aged up to 10 years in American oak barrels using the traditional Spanish solera system, and bottled at 80 proof (40 % ABV).

Torres Jaime I Reserva de la Familia

The Jaime I expression is made entirely from the Parellada grape variety, aged up to 30 years in American oak barrels for using the traditional Spanish solera method and bottled at 80 proof (40 % ABV). The ornate bottle was inspired by modernist art, which pays tribute to the founder of Bodegas Torres: Don Jaime Torres.

Tullamore D.E.W. 14-Year-Old, Single Malt, Irish Whiskey

Tullamore D.E.W. 14-Year-Old is an single malt Irish whiskey aged in four cask types. This product is triple-distilled from 100 % malted barley at one distillery (single malt). Most single malt whiskies from Scotland or Japan are double-distilled, but Irish single malt whiskeys are usually triple-distilled, generally producing a smoother flavor. The whiskey has aged a minimum of 14 years in former or ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished for a minimum of 6 months in ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts, ex-Port Pipes, and ex-Madeira Drums, bottled in small batches of fewer than 200 casks at 82.6 proof (41.3 % ABV).

Tullamore D.E.W. 18-Year-Old, Single Malt, Irish Whiskey

Tullamore D.E.W. 18-Year-Old is the oldest age statement ever released by the brand. This product is triple-distilled from 100 % malted barley at one distillery (single malt). The whiskey has aged a minimum of 18 years in former or ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished for a minimum of 6 months in ex-Oloroso Sherry Butts, ex-Port Pipes, and ex-Madeira Drums, bottled in small batches of fewer than 20 casks or fewer than 2,500 bottles at 82.6 proof (41.3 % ABV).

The Tyrconnell Single Malt, Irish Whiskey

The Tyrconnell Irish whiskey is originally from the Andrew Watt Distillery, established in 1762. The name comes from a horse that won against all odds at the National Produce Stakes in 1876. Tyrconnell is double-distilled from 100 % malted barley from one distillery. Its double distillation gives it a robust profile with more character than triple-distilled blends. This product is bottled with no age statement (NAS) at 86 proof (43 % ABV), so the whiskey is approachable, making it the ideal introduction for those exploring the world of Irish whiskey.

Woodford Reserve - The Brand

Woodford Reserve is a modern bourbon produced at a historic place. Launched in 1996 by American Whiskey giant Brown-Forman, Woodford Reserve is one of the most popular bourbons in the premium price range. The brand has become a staple on cocktail menus, restaurant back bars, and liquor store shelves. The Woodford Reserve Distillery, previously called the Labrot and Graham Distillery, is a national historic landmark located in Versailles, Kentuck, in Woodford County, deep in the heart of Bourbon Country. The distillery has a long distilling history, and the current location has been there since 1812. Woodford Reserve is also the official bourbon of the Kentucky Derby.

Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select

This expression is the brand’s flagship item, produced from a mash bill of 72 % corn, 18 % rye, and 10 % malt distilled in a combination of triple pot and traditional column. Master Distiller Chris Morris focuses on the “Five Sources of Flavor,” which are grain, water, fermentation, distillation, and maturation, to craft a product that is complex but balanced and perfect for any occasion or consumption method.

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked

First released in 2012, this expression takes fully mature Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select and ages it in a second barrel. The first round of aging for regular Woodford Reserve is done in a new, lightly toasted, and heavily charred barrel. After 5-7 years, the aged bourbon is moved to a second barrel, which is heavily toasted and then lightly charred for an additional 6-12 months. The extra aging gives this expression a darker color than regular Woodford Reserve. Except for the twice-barreled aging, all other components of the Woodford Reserve production process remain the same.

Woodford Reserve Rye

First released in 2016, this expression uses just 53% rye in the mash bill, just a little over the 51% legal minimum to be called an American Rye Whiskey. This style pays homage to the pre-prohibition style of rye whiskey. The lower rye content makes this product the perfect bridge item from bourbon to rye whiskey. It is an excellent option for whiskey-drinks who are unsure if they will enjoy drinking American Rye Whiskey. Except for the mash bill, all other components of the Woodford Reserve production process remain the same.

Woodford Reserve Malt

First released in 2018, the Woodford Reserve Malt is a throwback to a pre-prohibition style of Kentucky malt whiskey. While most people associate Malt Whiskey with Scotland, Kentucky has a history of Malt Whiskey production pre-Prohibition. After Prohibition, the Federal Government approved four straight whiskey standards: Bourbon, Rye, Wheat, and Malt. These reflect the types of whiskeys produced in the United States before Prohibition. Except for the mash bill, all other components of the Woodford Reserve production process remain the same.

Woodford Reserve Wheat

First released in 2019, this expression is not a Wheated Bourbon, which contains wheat instead of rye in the mash bill. This product is a proper four-grain Kentucky Wheat Whiskey, where wheat is the dominant grain in the mash bill. Except for the mash bill, all other components of the Woodford Reserve production process remain the same.

WhistlePig Piggyback Rye

WhistlePig Piggyback Rye is distilled in pot stills from Vermont and Alberta, Canada from a mash bill of 100 % rye, aged 6 years in charred American oak barrels, and bottled in small batches at 96.56 proof (48.28 % ABV). This product was the brain-child of deceased former master distiller Dave Pickerell and it pays homage to him in several clever ways. First, the pig logo, who is normally dressed like Winston Churchhill, is wearing a cowboy hat, since Dave could always be seen wearing his Stetson. Next, the proof 96.56, because Dave was born in 1956.

This product was created for bartenders as the ultimate cocktail rye , since the bartending community played such an important role in growing the WhistlePig brand. The Piggyback Rye gives bartenders a more price competitive option, compared to the brand's other expressions without sacrificing quality. The 100 % rye mash bill provides more spice than other lower rye whiskeys, the 6 year age statement stands out with more complexity, since most other rye brands are non-age statement (NAS), and finally the high-proof means that this whiskey will stand out or hold up in cocktails. WhistlePig Piggyback Rye won a double gold (GG) at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).

WhistlePig Piggyback Bourbon

WhistlePig Piggyback Bourbon is distilled in Vermont, Kentucky, and Indiana from a mash bill of 97 % corn, 2 % rye, 1 % malted barley, aged 6 years in # 3 charred new American oak barrels, and bottled in small batches at 100 proof (50 % ABV). This product is the sweeter counterpart to the Piggyback Rye and the next line extension in the brand's entry-level Piggyback series. In true WhistlePig fashion, the super high corn unconventional bourbon mash bill show cases the full flavor of the corn grain. Similar to the Piggyback Rye, the bourbon was designed for premium cocktails, because of the 6 year age statement and high-proof.

Wyoming Whiskey Small Batch

Wyoming Whiskey Small Batch Bourbon is the brand's flagship product and is produced grain-to-glass at their family-owned distillery in Kirby, Wyoming, located in the Big Horn Basin. This product is made from locally sourced grain, glacier-fed limestone aquifer water, aged for a minimum of 5 years in Wyoming's natural extreme temperature swings, and bottled at 88 proof (44 % ABV).

Yellowstone - The Brand
The current Yellowstone whiskey brand is produced at the Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky. Current Master Distillery Stephen Beam and his brother founded the distillery in 2010. Stephen is a seventh-generation distiller who can trace their bourbon lineage to Jacob Beam. Yellowstone Whiskey was first created in 1872 to honor the nation’s first national park in the northwest corner of Wyoming and extended into Montana and Idaho. The brand still pays tribute to Yellowstone National Park by donating some proceeds to the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) to help nurture the country’s national parks for future generations.

Yellowstone Select, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
The Yellowstone flagship bourbon was reinvigorated in 2015 by Master Distiller and distillery Founder Stephen Beam. This product combines a 4-year-old and 7-year-old Kentucky bourbon, distilled from a mash bill of 75 % corn, 13 % rye, and 12 % malted barley, and bottled at 93 proof (46.5 % ABV). Yellowstone Select won a gold medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Yellowstone American Single Malt Whiskey
The Yellowstone American Single Malt is aged 4 years, distilled from 100 % malted barley and bottled at 108 proof (54 % ABV).
